Donating Blood

At our foundation, we are committed to supporting projects that improve access to quality healthcare across Latin America and the Caribbean. Our work in this sector contributes directly to Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.


We fund and collaborate on initiatives that:

Children and Mothers

•    Enhance maternal and child health, with a focus on reducing maternal and infant mortality.
•    Expand access to sexual and reproductive health services.
•    Improve access to essential paediatric medicines and nutrition.
•    Support primary care tailored to the early detection and treatment of childhood illnesses.

Persons with Disabilities

  • Promote inclusive health services that ensure accessibility, dignity, and quality care for people with disabilities.

  • Support the adaptation of health facilities, communication tools, and medical training to meet their needs.

  • Facilitate rehabilitation services and early intervention for both physical and cognitive disabilities.

Women

•    Invest in women’s health, ensuring access to sexual and reproductive care, including prenatal and postnatal services.
•    Support community-based programmes that empower women through health education and access to services.
•    Promote gender-sensitive healthcare policies that address the specific needs of women throughout their life cycle.

General Population

•    Increase access to essential medicines and support local pharmaceutical production.
•    Strengthen health systems and promote universal health coverage.
•    Improve pandemic preparedness and response capacities using the One Health approach.
•    Improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare infrastructure and services.
•    Invest in digital health tools for prevention, early detection, and remote follow-up.
•    Provide training and capacity building for health professionals and encourage knowledge exchange.

​Older Adults

•    Strengthen care systems for ageing populations, including long-term care, chronic disease management, and mental health services.
•    Support training for caregivers and healthcare professionals in geriatric care.
•    Expand access to home-based and community health services for the elderly.
