Our leadership team works closely with regional advisors and local communities to make sure our strategies are culturally relevant and community-first.
Priorities
Focus Areas
We welcome a wide range of innovative solutions implemented in low- and middle-income countries, with special attention given to underserved regions and the most vulnerable or marginalized populations.
Who Can Apply
We accept applications from a wide variety of organizations, either independently or in partnership: non-profit organizations, NGOs, community organizations, entrepreneurs, research institutions, local governments, universities, cooperatives and private companies.
Funding Restrictions Policy
The following categories of activities and expenses are generally not eligible for funding from our organisation:
Religious or Proselytising Activities: Projects whose primary aim is the promotion of a specific faith will not be funded, particularly when the funding organisation has a secular mandate or works with a broad range of partners from diverse belief systems.
Partisan Political Activities: Funding will not be provided to support political campaigns, political parties, or activities directly related to electoral politics.
Projects with Significant Negative Environmental Impact: Projects that may cause considerable environmental harm are excluded, in line with our commitment to environmental sustainability.
Purely Academic Research Without Immediate Practical Application: Theoretical research with no clear application or short-to-medium-term social or economic impact potential will generally not be supported.
Projects Outside Strategic Priorities and the SDGs: Projects that are not clearly aligned with our organisation’s strategic focus areas and the Sustainable Development Goals will not be considered.
Illegal or Unethical Activities: Funding is strictly prohibited for any activities that violate international laws, ethical standards, or are associated with practices such as human trafficking, labour exploitation, or corruption.
This funding restrictions policy aims to ensure that resources are used effectively and directed towards projects that generate significant positive impact within our priority areas, while maintaining high ethical and sustainability standards.
