At the Global Sustainable Development Foundation (GSDF), our mission is to support and strengthen local organizations and initiatives that are building sustainable futures for their communities. We invest in projects that create a lasting impact in areas such as health, employment, education, women's empowerment, child well-being, agriculture, entrepreneurship and infrastructure.

Founded in 2015 in Brussels, the Global Foundation for Sustainable Development was born from a simple but powerful idea: local solutions can solve global problems, if given the right support.

 

What began as a small initiative to connect donors with grassroots organizations has grown into an international foundation that supports projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Over the years, we have helped launch, scale and sustain dozens of programs that are changing lives and transforming communities. From rural schools in Central America to women-led startups in urban areas of Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe, our story is written through the people we serve and the partnerships we build.
